Why I Use Next.js and Prisma for Almost Everything

As a solo developer, consistency is speed. Most Space D projects run on the same few tools.

Next.js App Router

Server components, routing and API routes in one codebase, deployable in minutes.

Prisma and PostgreSQL

A typed schema, easy migrations with db push, and a hosted Postgres such as Neon so I never manage a server.

Tailwind CSS

Fast, consistent styling and easy dark and light themes.

For older projects I still use Node.js, Express and MariaDB, and they work fine. For new work this stack gets me from idea to product fastest.
